Employee Experience Analyst & Solutions Engineer
LOCATION: United States-Remote
Department: Technology
Position: Full Time-Non-Exempt
Engage PEO, recognized on the ‘INC. 5000 Honor Roll for the Fastest Growing Private Companies’ is seeking future Engagers who are ready to build a rewarding future. The Employee Experience Analyst is responsible for administering, supporting, and continuously improving Engage PEO's employee self-service portal and new-hire onboarding experience for worksite employees and client HR administrators. This role also serves as a Solutions Engineer, partnering with the Sales team during the sales process to demonstrate Engage PEO’s technology platform to prospective clients, answer technical and functional questions, and translate client requirements into configuration and implementation guidance. This role bridges HR technology operations with client-facing technical sales support, combining strong systems/process skills with the communication skills needed to present to prospective client.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Solutions Engineer
- Partner with the Sales team to assess each prospective client's HR technology environment and recommend which portal and onboarding configurations will meet their needs, advising the Sales team and client stakeholders directly on the recommended approach.
- Design and deliver consultative, client-specific demonstrations, based on your assessment of each client's priorities. Translate prospective-client technical and business requirements into feasible solution and configuration recommendations.
- Serve as the technical advisor to the Sales organization, responding to RFP/RFI’s with accurate technical content describing the portal and onboarding platform's capabilities. Make determinations on how to position platform capabilities against each client's specific requirements.
- Determine client-specific configuration scope based on needs identified during the sales cycle, affecting contract terms and client commitments. Collaborate with Sales, Implementation, and Product leadership as needed.
- Serve as the subject-matter expert on portal and onboarding capabilities across the sales cycle, independently addressing technical questions and affecting the handoff to implementation.
- Capture and evaluate client feedback from sales engagements to inform the product roadmap.
Employee Experience Portal
- Own the integrity and administration of the employee self-service portal, ensuring accurate configuration, appropriate access and permissions, and the security and compliance of all employee data maintained within the system.
- Own end-to-end new-hire onboarding workflows within the portal/HRIS, ensuring a smooth experience for new employees and client HR contacts.
- Monitor and analyze key metrics including but not limited to onboarding completion rates and portal adoption; make recommendations to stakeholders based on reported findings.
- Responsible for the successful execution of portal enhancements, releases, and integrations including testing and validation prior to deployment, documenting defects and coordinating fixes.
- Develop and maintain onboarding documentation, quick-reference guides, and training materials that build lasting system knowledge and self-sufficiency for internal teams and clients.
- Serve as the liaison between HR/Client Services and IT/engineering teams on portal-related projects and change requests.
- Resolve and triage portal issues reported by worksite employees or client administrators—escalating to IT, engineering, or the software vendor as needed—to maintain a reliable, trustworthy system experience for clients.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in database migration projects by configuring employee and onboarding experiences for migrating customers while limiting disruption to client business operations.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience is preferred
- Experience with HRIS (preferably Prism or iSolved), employee self-service portals, and onboarding and enrollment platforms
- Prior experience in a client-facing technical role — sales engineering, solutions consulting, implementation, or technical support.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to demonstrate technology clearly and confidently to a non-technical audience.
- Ability to translate business and technical requirements between clients, Sales, and internal technical teams.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and project-coordination skills.
- Proficiency with standard office and collaboration tools; CRM experience (e.g., ClientSpace) a plus.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Prior formal Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Solutions Consultant experience.
